Program Overview
The prestigious, English-language International Business Bachelor’s Degree was developed based on the Faculty of Economics' extensive experience in specialized programs conducted since 2008. This study program covers various topics, including international trade, marketing, transportation, finance, globalization, and international business relations. It also emphasizes cultural differences in business, preparing graduates to excel in culturally and linguistically diverse teams. How competitive: the University of Gdańsk ranks applicants on weighted subject results, not on the IB total. English counts 0.6 and two more subjects from the university's list (among them Business Management, Geography, History, Computer Science and Mathematics) 0.2 each, with each IB grade scored at SL as 7 = 100, 6 = 90, 5 = 75 and 4 = 60, and at HL as 1.75 times that. The lowest score admitted for 2025/26 was 110.30: 6s at SL in all three subjects give 90, while English at HL 6 with SL 6s in the other two gives 130.5.
