How the brain and nervous system work, drawing on the Department of Psychology's research and its links with Barrow Neurological Institute, Mayo Clinic and the Translational Genomics Research Institute. How competitive: for fall 2025, ASU admitted 90% of its 8,906 international first-year applicants (88% of all 69,617). It sets no IB minimum: international first-year applicants need a 3.00 GPA (a B average) from secondary school, three years of coursework and a completed diploma, and the SAT and ACT are optional; some majors set higher criteria.
