Program Overview
IT Product Development combines software development with user-centred design to create physical IT products for everyday life, such as smartwatches, smart glasses, in-car interfaces, medical devices and building climate control systems. You learn to design, model, construct and program products with integrated software and new ways of interacting, working with sensors and actuators. The programme also gives a foundation in software development, algorithms, programming and data analysis, and introduces computer architecture, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, augmented reality, 3D modelling and 3D printing. No programming experience is needed, and projects are run with IT companies. How competitive: in 2026, places awarded on grades (quota 1) went to applicants from about 39 IB points (a Danish GPA of 10.1). The other places (quota 2) are assessed on the grades in the programme's key subjects and relevant experience, where any Diploma holder (24 points) can compete.
