Program Overview

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) comprises renowned educators and researchers who possess cutting-edge knowledge in areas such as big data, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, networking, graphics, social media, software development, and computation theory. BEng in Computer Science (COMP) - Computer science covers the application of computer technology to solve important problems in the scientific, engineering, and commercial domains. Our BEng COMP program offers a comprehensive education that cultivates problem-solving skills necessary for tackling computational problems across core areas, including programming, data structures and algorithms, operating systems, and software engineering. Students are then able to explore diverse areas of computer science, such as databases and data mining, networking, embedded systems, computer graphics, image processing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, computer security, and theoretical computer science.
