BSc in Economics and Finance

Program Overview

Compared to the BBA in Economics, our BSc in Economics and Finance (ECOF) places greater emphasis on the use of quantitative methods and techniques to form an in-depth understanding of the modern economy and public policy. Students interested in economic research may enroll in the Honors Thesis Courses in their final year to further develop their research skills and take the opportunity to work closely with a faculty member on their own research project. This program is suitable for students who aspire to pursue careers that require strong analytical and quantitative skills, such as in investment banks, consulting, data analysis, and economics. The sophisticated analytical training and quantitative research skills offered by the program also prepare students to pursue further studies. The flexibility of our curriculum design allows ECOF students to pursue additional majors in other business areas. Synergizing economics and finance, the program makes ECOF graduates competitive in pursuing a range of careers across business fields.
