Program Overview
The aim of the degree program is a comprehensive understanding of systems – from the biomolecule to the ecosystem – and extensive methodological expertise. How TUM decides: an aptitude recommendation. Taking part is compulsory, but its result does not affect admission: with a high enough score from your grades you are admitted straight away, and otherwise after an interview. Teaching is in German. Your IB proves your German only with German A at HL; otherwise TUM asks for a certificate such as DSH-2, TestDaF with 4 in all four parts, or telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule.
