Program Overview
The bachelor's program in Food Chemistry is devoted to the development of strategies that meet the increasing need for healthy food and food security. The program also combines knowledge of the natural sciences with the life sciences. How TUM decides: an aptitude recommendation. Taking part is compulsory, but its result does not affect admission: with a high enough score from your grades you are admitted straight away, and otherwise after an interview. Teaching is in German. Your IB proves your German only with German A at HL; otherwise TUM asks for a certificate such as DSH-2, TestDaF with 4 in all four parts, or telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule.
