Program Overview
Chemical biotechnology is key in the sustainable and resource-conserving design of goods and value chains. Students of the Bachelor's degree program in Chemical Biotechnology learn to understand and analyze biogenic materials, tools, and processes and to put them to use for industrial purposes. How TUM decides: open admission. Every applicant whose IB meets Germany's conditions is admitted, with no selection. Teaching is in German. Your IB proves your German only with German A at HL; otherwise TUM asks for a certificate such as DSH-2, TestDaF with 4 in all four parts, or telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule.
