Management and Technology (Munich)

Program Overview

The Bachelor's program in Management and Technology combines management courses with a specialization in technology. How TUM decides: an aptitude assessment. TUM's score out of 100 weights your IB total, converted to a German grade, at 65% and your grades in maths (×2), computer science or your best science (×2), and German or English at 35%. A score of 88 or more admits you, 66 or less does not, and in between you are invited to a written test. On TUM's formula, with 6s in those subjects, an IB total of 40 or more passes outright, and 29 or below is turned down (our calculation from TUM's rules, not a figure TUM publishes). Teaching is in German and English (the Computer Engineering specialization is entirely in English). TUM checks your English in the aptitude assessment and asks for no German certificate.
