Program Overview

Data-driven technologies, such as AI and the Internet of Things, deeply transform virtually all areas of business and the society. The Bachelor in Management and Data Science provides a flexible toolkit to holistically incorporate and use data-driven innovations for managerial decision-making. How TUM decides: an aptitude assessment. TUM's score out of 100 weights your IB total, converted to a German grade, at 65% and your grades in maths (×2), computer science or your best science (×2), and English at 35%. A score of 88 or more admits you, 66 or less does not, and in between you are invited to an interview. On TUM's formula, with 6s in those subjects, an IB total of 40 or more passes outright, and 29 or below is turned down (our calculation from TUM's rules, not a figure TUM publishes). Teaching is in English, and TUM checks your English in the aptitude assessment.
