Business (Joint Honours)

Program Overview

The business aspects of this degree will result in a graduate with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in, understand, and critically evaluate practices within markets, organisations and business management. The study of Business is the study of the integration of a range of fundamental practices of business including finance, marketing, leadership, strategy, accounting, corporate social responsibility, business ethics, and broad management skills designed to explore and enhance our understanding of how companies and industries operate and flourish. How competitive: applicants from the EU apply through the CAO, and each Joint Honours pair of subjects is ranked on points. In round 1 of 2026, the pairs with Business took from 542 to 602 points, depending on the other subject. On Trinity's indicative scale for the IB, 542 is about 40 points, and anything above 600 needs Higher Level Mathematics at 4 or better, which adds 25: 602 took about 43 points with it. Applicants from outside the EU apply to Trinity directly and are assessed individually.
