Program Overview

Mathematics is a broad and diverse subject which is used to model, analyse and understand several applications in the physical and biological sciences, engineering, management science, economics and finance. Its numerous applications are naturally interwoven with the underlying theory which is essential in developing one’s logical reasoning, quantitative skills and problem-solving techniques. How competitive: applicants from the EU apply through the CAO and are ranked on points. In round 1 of 2026, places went to applicants with 601 points or more. On Trinity's indicative scale for the IB, and counting the 25 points that this course's Higher Level Mathematics adds, that is about 43 points. Applicants from outside the EU apply to Trinity directly and are assessed individually.
