Computer Science BSc (Hons)

Program Overview

Computer science is the study of computation, information, and automation. You will explore the theory, design, and implementation of algorithms and data structures, study how systems manage complexity, and examine the profound impact of computer science on almost every aspect of our lives. How competitive: Edinburgh usually makes offers to the highest-qualified applicants. In recent years most applicants needed from 34 points with 665 at HL to 43 points with 777 at HL to receive an offer, and some years are more competitive than others, so 34 does not guarantee one.
