Program Overview

This program provides rigorous training in pure and applied mathematics. Students develop deep understanding of mathematical structures, proofs, and problem-solving techniques across areas including algebra, analysis, geometry, and probability. The curriculum prepares graduates for careers in research, finance, data science, and education. How competitive: Catalan universities rank applicants on an admission mark out of 14, and in June 2026 the last place in the first allocation went at 11.870. With UNEDasiss accreditation an IB Diploma counts as your average subject grade plus 3, so it gives at most 10: to reach 11.870, an IB applicant also needs UNEDasiss's specific competence tests (PCE), which add up to 2 points each (the best two count) in subjects this degree weights at 0.2 (Mathematics, Mathematics for the Social Sciences or Physics).
