Program Overview

The Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry addresses the following general objectives: To instil and consolidate interest in learning about chemistry. To provide a broad and solid base of chemical knowledge, and practical skills that can be applied to solving problems of chemistry. To provide the tools and means to facilitate the acquisition of valuable skills in any field of science. To provide fundamental knowledge and skills to enable further study, in both specialized and multidisciplinary areas. How competitive: Catalan universities rank applicants on an admission mark out of 14, and in June 2026 the last place in the first allocation went at 9.234. With UNEDasiss accreditation an IB Diploma counts as your average subject grade plus 3 (a 6 in every subject gives 9), so 9.234 took about 38 points from the six subjects. UNEDasiss's specific competence tests (PCE) add up to 2 points each (the best two count) in subjects this degree weights at 0.2 (Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry).
