How competitive: McGill admits on grades, and the lowest grades it accepts change from year to year with the applicants. For this program they have typically fallen between 35 and 38 points from the six subjects (out of 42: the core points do not count), with 5 to 6 in each maths and science subject and at least one 6 (6 in Maths AA at SL), so 35 does not guarantee a place.
