Program Overview

Design and analyze mechanical systems from nanotechnology to spacecraft. This program covers thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science, and mechanical design to solve real-world engineering challenges. How competitive: McGill admits on grades, and the lowest grades it accepts change from year to year with the applicants. For this program they have typically fallen between 38 and 42 points from the six subjects (out of 42: the core points do not count), with 6 in each maths and science subject, so 38 does not guarantee a place.
